Game changer – major amendments proposed for employer assisted temporary work visas (Chinese seminars added)

You are invited to attend a comprehensive immigration seminar on the game changing policy changes that the Government are currently consulting on.

The Government’s current consultation on proposed changes to work visas includes proposals that will have massive impact on all employers who employ migrant workers, with an overall focus on ‘raising the bar’ in order to reduce employers’ reliance on migrant labour.

This seminar is a must for HR managers, in-house counsel and managers wanting to understand the proposed new policies.

The recent changes are going to affect many businesses with far-reaching, long-term consequences. National experts in employer immigration matters, Mark Williams and Rachael Mason will provide a practical session to discuss the key changes included in the consultation, including:

    • Summarising the key proposals recommended in the consultation
    • Potential impact of the key changes
    • How to prepare in advance to soften the impact of the changes
    • Top tips on having your say by responding to the consultation opportunities to start preparing for the changes
      (stricter documentation and compliance teeth)
    • Other changes on the horizon

There will be a formal seminar for 60 minutes, with an additional time for questions.  There will be an opportunity to speak to the presenters following the presentation.
